MemberOnline gives you access to your CareSuper account whenever you need it. It’s easy, safe and secure.

We’re currently in a limited service period (LSP)
While we complete our merger, you’ll have read-only access to MemberOnline between 22 October to 31 October. You’ll be able to log back in using your current email and by resetting your password from 21 November. This app will also be retiring from 22 October and will no longer work. A new CareSuper app will launch in late November 2024.

CareSuper mobile app 

With the CareSuper mobile app you can keep track of your super or pension account from your mobile phone or tablet, whenever and wherever you go.

Our mobile app lets you:

  • Access your account fast and securely via a 4-digit PIN, if you log in to the app at least once every 90 days
  • See a snapshot of your key account details – including your balance, investments, recent account activity, annual statements and insurance cover (if eligible) on your personal dashboard
  • Access most features available in MemberOnline

Accessing your account online
How do I access MemberOnline?
  • You’ll need to register for MemberOnline before you log in to your account.
  • Once there, enter your Client ID or Member Account Number (you can find these on your welcome letter/email or your annual statement) and date of birth.
  • If you have trouble locating your Client ID or Member Account Number, contact us and we can step you through the registration process.
  • If these details match those held on your account, you’ll see a screen with your email address. Select ‘next’ to confirm you want to proceed, and we’ll send an email to the address shown on screen (the one we have on file for you). Once you've received the email, follow the link to set your new MemberOnline password and complete your registration.
  • Then you can log in to your account by going to caresuper.com.au/login and selecting ‘log in here’. You should use your registered email address and the password you created during the registration.
  • You might also be prompted for a verification code, which is a unique once-off code that you can have sent to you via SMS, email or phone call to verify your identity.
     
How do I access my Pension account?

You’ll need to register for MemberOnline before you log in to your pension account. Go to caresuper.com.au/login and hit ‘Register now’.

Once there, you’ll be prompted to enter your Client ID and date of birth.

If these details match those held on your account, you'll see a screen with your email address. Select ‘next’ to confirm you want to proceed, and we’ll send an email to the address shown on screen (the one we have on file for you). Once you've received the email, follow the link to set your new MemberOnline password and complete your registration.

Then you can log in to your account by going to caresuper.com.au/login and selecting ‘log in here’. You should use your registered email address and the password you created during the registration.

You might also be prompted for a verification code, which is a unique once-off code that you can have sent to you via SMS, email or phone call to verify your identity.
 

What if I get an error when I’m trying to register?

If you're experiencing problems trying to register. Here’s a few things to check:

  • You’re selecting ’Register now’ at caresuper.com.au/login to set up your new log-in details before logging in to the new MemberOnline for the first time. All members will need to register for MemberOnline before using and should only take a couple of minutes.
  • You've entered your Client ID when asked to enter a number. Your Client ID can be found in your welcome letter or email, or your annual statement. 
  • The date of birth you enter will need to match our records.
  • Once you register and log in, all of your accounts will be available within MemberOnline via the dropdown at the top of the dashboard.

If you’re experiencing issues logging in from an iOS (Apple) device it can also help to:

  • Ensure your operating software has been updated to the most recent version (iOS 12+, Android 7.0+)
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies (on a mobile device this might be called ‘clear history and website data’)

I’ve got a super and pension account with CareSuper. Which number should I use?

You’ll need to use your Client ID. This is the member number associated to you as a CareSuper member. Your accounts have individual numbers as well, but to register for MemberOnline you’ll need your Client ID which can be found in your welcome letter or email or annual statement. 

Why am I getting an error or being logged out when I try to log in?

If you've followed the steps above under ‘How do I access MemberOnline?’, but you're still experiencing issues, it may help to:

  • Ensure your operating software has been updated to the most recent version (for iOS, you need to be on version 12 or higher and for Android you need to be on version x7.0 or higher)
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies (on a mobile device this might be called ‘clear history and website data’)
  • Try opening MemberOnline in a different browser (e.g. Google Chrome), or a different device, such as your desktop computer.

How do I reset my password for MemberOnline?

If you've followed the steps above under ‘How do I access MemberOnline?’ to register, but you’ve forgotten your new password, or you're experiencing issues and would like to reset it, go to caresuper.com.au/login.

Select the ‘Already have MemberOnline access? Log in here’ option, enter your registered email address and press next.

Once prompted to enter your password, hit 'I've forgotten my password' and follow the prompts to send an email that will let you set up a new password.
 

Mobile app
What can I do in the app?

Most things that can be done in MemberOnline can be done with the CareSuper mobile app. The CareSuper mobile app lets you:

  • Access your account fast and securely via a 4-digit PIN, if you log in to the app at least once every 90 days 
  • A snapshot of your key account details – view your balance, investments, recent account activity, annual statements and insurance cover (if eligible) on your personal dashboard 
  • A look at your future potential income after you wind down work. Explore ways to make your money last longer or see how long your account balance might last.

Plus, you can: 

  • Make an investment switch or change your future investment strategy 
  • Update your non-binding beneficiaries 
  • View your current insurance cover and cancel, or apply to tailor your cover*
  • Change your withdrawal strategy (pension members)
  • Find lost and other super, and consolidate it to your CareSuper account when you’ve confirmed it’s the right move for you*
  • Update your personal information 
  • Change your communication preferences 
  • Get important notifications.

Can my phone support this app?

This app supports the latest operating version, along with future versions. These are currently:

  • iOS operating system 12.0+
  • Android operating systems 7.0+
     
Who can use this app?

If you have a super account or a pension account and have registered for MemberOnline, you can use this app. If you haven’t yet registered for MemberOnline, simply register here.

How do I log in?

To access the CareSuper app, use the email address and password you have previously registered with us to access MemberOnline. Once your details have been validated, you’ll be prompted to set up a pin.

If you haven’t logged in for more than 90 days, you’ll need to log in again using your email address and password.  
 

How do I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password, select the ‘forgotten password’ link on the login page and follow the prompts. Alternatively, you can call us on 1300 360 149 to reset your details.

How do I set up a pin?

If you haven’t used the app before, you’ll first need to log in to your account. You’ll then be prompted to set a pin.

I’ve forgotten my pin. What do I do?

On the pin screen simply select ‘Forgot your pin?’. This will take you back to the log in page, where you will need to log back in with your username or member number and password. You can then choose a new pin.

How secure is the CareSuper mobile app?

Information in the CareSuper mobile app is protected by:

  • A 4-digit device PIN which you set up after you enter your email address and password used for MemberOnline 
  • Biometric authentication can be enabled on compatible devices to verify your identity  
  • User access expiry after 90 days of app inactivity.  

We suggest keeping your log in information secure and changing it regularly. It’s also important to make sure you log out of the app after you finish each session.
 

Is there any cost?

No, you do not need to pay to purchase the app, however, mobile data and usage fees may apply.

How do I update the app?

If your phone is set to automatically update, you will not be required to do anything. However, if you manually update your apps you will receive a push notification from either the iTunes App Store or Google Play reminding you to update your app.

Which version is my phone running?

If you have an Android device, you can check which version it is running by:

  1. Going to ‘Settings’
  2. Selecting the ‘About device’ option
  3. Checking the number under ‘Android version’. The three numbers listed there (e.g. ‘4.04’) indicate which version your phone is running.

If you have an iPhone, you can check which version it is running by:

  1. Opening the ‘Settings’ app
  2. Going to the ‘General’ section
  3. Going to the ‘About’ section
  4. Scrolling down until you find the row ‘Version’, where the version number will be displayed (e.g. ‘9.3.3’)
     
I have multiple accounts. Can I switch between them?

Yes, but you must first contact CareSuper on 1300 360 149 to link your accounts.

Once you have done this, you can easily toggle between your accounts within the app. Simply choose which account to view when you log in, or switch between accounts by at the top of any page.

Already linked your accounts? Then you’re good to go. The toggling functionality will already be visible when you download the app.
